Overview The Geonautics International group of companies has evolved from general purpose electronics, navigation and mapping into the niche market of technical surveillance. Products and services in this field are provided exclusively to Law Enforcement and Government Agencies where we maintain an awareness of the sensitivities associated with our clients' duties.
History Initially introduced to technical surveillance in 1989 via the Queensland University of Technology, the group had a strong involvement in the formation of the Australian Space Centre for Satellite Navigation before maturing as a commercial spin off company in its own right.
With a focus on the Global Positioning System (GPS) and digital mapping Geonautics was quickly established at the forefront of these fields.
Initially Geonautics' law enforcement involvement was limited to software and digital mapping for third party hardware. The electronic engineering resources were almost totally consumed on commercial applications. It was not long however before it was apparent that using the full breadth of the company's expertise could greatly enhance the clients ability to perform their surveillance tasks.
Having incorporated in the state of Texas and exporting to Europe and Asia, Geonautics International now boasts a diverse array of expertise in the electronics, manufacturing, computing and mapping fields. The products range has likewise expanded to incorporate radio frequency and solid state memory technologies.
Future Geonautics International sets a challenging standard in the development and manufacture of both hardware and software and will continually strive to exceed your expectations.
